King’s Castles Guide: Conquest, Tribute and Titles

Ten castles stand at the edge of the kingdom, each waiting for a Lord or Lady. Unowned castles are held by the King’s castle commander. Any hero of level 15 or higher without a castle can challenge a castle of equal strength (35–65% win chance); the owner does not need to be online, as the fight uses the owner’s last saved duel loadout.
Every castle has a coat of arms that fits its name: a raven at Ravenrock, a crescent at Moonlight, a dragon at Dragonrock. Castle courtyards are open to visitors; Bertram, the Castle Guard on the square, takes you to any courtyard you like. The Lord’s name is written on the plaque, and if the Lord is online they stand in the courtyard in person.
Rules
- Each castle can be challenged 3 times a day.
- The winner gets 60 XP and the loser 30 XP; there is no item stake.
- If the owner does not fight at least 5 duels in 7 days, the castle returns to the commander.
- A hero who loses a castle cannot challenge that castle for 24 hours.
- A hero can hold only one castle at a time.
